Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
is ready to bring in a new subject for Std XI about gender issues. The
subject is 'Human Rights and Gender Studies'. Only 50 schools in India
will be entitled to offer this elective course.This subject will be
combined with human rights studies. This subject will be launched in the
2013-14 academic session.
